In 1841 Samuel Taylor is widowed and living in East Budleigh together with his younger brother and sister.

Maria COLDRIDGE's burial was recorded on 14th December 1829 in Exeter St Leonard, just 2 months after the death of her daughter.

In 1841 Samuel & Maria's son is recorded at school in Birmingham. I found the following notice in the Exeter Flying Post on Thursday 3rd July 1845:

Mr. Samuel Powning COLDRIDGE, son of Mr. COLDRIDGE, of East Budleigh, Land Agent, has been presented to an Exhibition of £50 a-year, by the Governors of the Free Grammar School of King Edward the Sixth, in Birmingham.
