George & Elizabeth Coldridge of Exeter

George COLDRIDGE, born in Exeter in 1813, is the younger son of Charles & Mary COLDRIDGE of Exeter. He married Elizabeth in Rewe (near Exeter) when he was 22 and they had 2 sons. A notice of George's marriage appeared in the Western Times on Saturday 10th October 1835:

October 1, at Rewe, Mr. George COLERIDGE, second son of Mr. COLERIDGE furnishing Ironmonger, of this city, to Elizabeth Ayre only daughter of John DRAKE, Esq., of Upexe House, near Silverton.

Elizabeth Ayre COLERIDGE's death, aged 69, was registered in June 1884 in Barton Regis (Bristol).
