Their marriage was announced in the Bristol Mercury on Saturday 21st October 1871:

October 14, at St. John the Evangelist, Durdham-down [Clifton], Arthur George COLERIDGE to Matilda Louisa GIBSON, widow of the late Capt. D. GIBSON, 24th Regiment, elder daughter of Major S. E. TAYLOR, 1st Gloucestershire R.V. Corps.
