William COLDRIDGE, born in Holcombe Burnell in 1793, is the younger son of Charles & Sarah COLDRIDGE. He married Jane in Clyst St George and lived in Dunsford, Ide and Exeter. They had 3 children – 2 daughters and 1 son.

William COLDRIDGE's marriage at the age of 29 to Jane ELLIOT was recorded on 25th March 1822 in Clyst St George (near Exeter).

Martha COLDRIDGE was baptised on 1st April 1823 in Dunsford, noted as "Cruyshouse Cottage".

Jemima COLDRIDGE (recorded as Coridge) was baptised on 25th September 1825 in Dunsford, noted as "Cruyshouse Cottage".

John Elliot COLDRIDGE was baptised on 4th February 1827 in Ide.

Martha COLDRIDGE's marriage to William BALE was registered in December 1840 in St Thomas.

Martha COLDRIDGE, Spinster, residing Oakhampton Street, daughter of William COLDRIDGE, Labourer, married William BALE, Bachelor, Labourer, residing Oakhampton Street, son of William BALE, Labourer, on 31st December 1840 in the Parish Church of St Thomas Exeter after banns. Both of age. Martha signed, William made his mark. Witnesses Jamima COLDRIDGE and John TOOTELL.
