Richard COLRIDGE, baptised in Dunsford in 1667, is the second son of Richard & Grace COLDRIDGE of Doddiscombsleigh. He was a yeoman farmer living in Doddiscombsleigh at the time of his marriage in 1699:

Richard COLERIDGE's marriage was recorded on 14th April 1699 in Exeter St Mary Major. [Note that the marriage entry only has "Richard COLERIDGE of Doddiscombleigh Yeoman" and does not record his wife's name]

The Doddiscombsleigh parish register records the baptisms of 3 sons to Richard COLRIDGE, then a further 4 sons and 2 daughters to Richard & Anne COLRIDGE.

Anne may have been Richard's second wife as there is a baptism of a daughter of Richard & Joane COLRIDGE in 1687 and baptisms of daughters of Richard COLRIDGE in 1695 and 1699, however, according to J.T.H. Du Boulay the children above are the only ones mentioned in Richard's will.
