John & Mary Coldridge of Exeter

John COLDRIDGE, born in Doddiscombsleigh in 1815, is the third son of John & Betsey COLDRIDGE. He moved to Exeter where he worked as a carpenter but appears to have had no children by either of his marriages.

John COLDRIDGE, Bachelor, Carpenter, residing Allhallows on the Walls, son of John COLDRIDGE, Yeoman, married Mary EAST, Spinster, Servant, residing Alphington, daughter of Samuel EAST, Cordwainer, on 26th May 1838 in the Parish Church of St Mary Steps Exeter after banns. Both of full age. Both signed. Witnesses William EAST and Ann BENNETT.

John COLDRIDGE's marriage to Mary EAST was registered in June 1838 in Exeter.
