Henry COLDRIDGE, born in Doddiscombsleigh in 1837, is the eldest son of William & Maria COLDRIDGE, but appears to have adopted the spelling COLERIDGE in all BMD and census records found. He had 5 children and lived in Wolborough.

Henry COLERIDGE's marriage at the age of 30 to Jane EVANS was registered in September 1867 in Newton Abbot.

Henry COLERIDGE, age 30, Bachelor, residing Newton Abbot, son of William COLERIDGE, Labourer, married Jane EVANS, age 27, Spinster, residing Newton Bushel, daughter of Arthur EVANS, Labourer, on 18th August 1867 in the Parish Church of Highweek after banns. Both signed. Witnesses ??? GAYE and Peter BEARNE.
