John & Mary COLERIDGE of Crediton

John COLERIDGE, born in 1719, is the eldest surviving son of John & Mary COLERIDGE of Crediton, and there is a record of his first marriage is in the parish register:

John COLERIDGE married Mary LENDON on 24 May 1743 in Crediton.

There are parish registers records of the baptism of John & Mary's daughters:

Mary COLERIDGE was baptised on 16th April 1745 in Witheridge (10 miles W of Tiverton). Her burial was recorded in 1753 [no details???]. [†]

Sarah COLERIDGE was baptised on 13th September 1747 in Clyst Hydon (4 miles NW of Ottery St Mary).

Florella COLERIDGE was baptised on 17th April 1750 in South Molton. Her burial was recorded on 12th May 1750. [†]

Elizabeth COLERIDGE was baptised on 10th March 1751 in South Molton.

John was appointed Master of Squire’s Endowed Grammar School at South Molton in 1750, and shortly after there is a record of Mary's burial:

Mary COLERIDGE was buried on June 15th 1751 in South Molton. Noted as wife of Rev. John Coleridge.
