John & Jane COLERIDGE of Ottery St Mary

John Duke COLERIDGE, born in 1820, is the eldest son of John & Mary COLERIDGE of Bloomsbury. An announcement of his marriage appeared in the Exeter & Plymouth Gazette on 15th August 1846:

August 11, Freshwater, Isle of Wight, John Duke COLERIDGE. Esq., eldest son of the Hon. Mr. Justice COLERIDGE, to Jane Seymour Fortescue, third daughter of the Rev. G. T. SEYMOUR, of Farringford, Isle of Wight.

John Duke COLERIDGE's marriage to Jane Fortescue SEYMOUR was registered in September 1846 in the Isle of Wight, Hants.

I have found no records for the births of John & Jane's children, except for Bernard:

Mildred Mary Duke COLERIDGE was born around 1846.

Bernard John Seymour COLERIDGE was baptised on 21st September 1851 in Ottery St Mary. Date of birth 19th August 1851.

Stephen Wm Buchanan COLERIDGE was born around 1854.

Gilbert James Duke COLERIDGE was born on 15th February 1859.

Geraldine Buchanan COLERIDGE was born around 1860.

There is a notice of Mildred's marriage in the Edinburgh Evening News on 24th June 1885:

ADAMS–COLERIDGE. The marriage of Charles Warren ADAMS and the hon. Mildred COLERIDGE took place this morning at St Matthias, Earl's-court. The ceremony was strictly private, and Lord COLERIDGE having refused his daughter's request to be present, no invitations were issued to the COLERIDGE family. All the immediate members of the late Lady COLERIDGE's family were present.

Mildred Mary COLERIDGE's marriage to Charles Warren ADAMS was registered in June 1885 in Kensington.

 

There was a notice of John's second marriage in the Western Times on 18th August 1885:

COLERIDGE–LAWFORD. August 13, by special license, at 42, Victoria Rd, Kensington, the residence of the bride's mother, the Right Hon John Duke, first Baron COLERIDGE, to Amy Augusta Jackson, eldest daughter of the late Henry Baring LAWFORD, of the Bengal Civil Service.
