John & Ann COLERIDGE of Ottery St Mary
John COLERIDGE, born in 1719, is the eldest surviving son of John & Mary COLERIDGE of Crediton, and there is a record of his second marriage in Exeter:
John COLERIDGE married Ann BOWDEN on 18th December 1753 in Exeter St Mary Arches. Both recorded as residing in South Molton.
In 1753, he became lecturer at Molland (5 miles east of South Molton), where he met his second wife, and was later curate there. In August 1760, he was appointed Schoolmaster and Chaplain Priest of the King’s Grammar School at Ottery, and shortly after appointed Vicar.

James COLERIDGE was baptised on 3rd December 1759.

George COLERIDGE was baptised on 26th April 1764, date of birth 23rd March 1764.

Ann COLERIDGE was baptised on 18th June 1767, date of birth 10th March 1767.
Francis Syndercombe COLERIDGE was baptised on 6th June 1770, date of birth 6th January 1770.
Samuel Taylor COLERIDGE was baptised on 30th December 1772, date of birth 21st October 1772.
