Henry & Sara COLERIDGE of St Pancras

Henry Nelson COLERIDGE, born in 1798, is the fifth son of James & Frances COLERIDGE of Ottery St Mary, and there is a record of his marriage to his cousin:

Henry Nelson COLERIDGE married Sarah COLERIDGE on 3rd September 1829 in Crosthwaite, Keswick.

Western Times 5th Sept 1829: On Wednesday, at Keswick, H. Nelson COLERIDGE. Esq. of the Middle Temple, Barrister-at-Law, to Sarah, only daughter of Samuel T. COLERIDGE, Esq.

Herbert COLERIDGE was born around 1830.

Sara COLERIDGE was born around 1831.

Edith COLERIDGE was born around 1833.

In 1851 Sarah, who is widowed, is still in London with her daughter. There is a record of Sara's death only a year after the census:

Sara COLERIDGE's death, aged 49, was registered in June 1852 in St Pancras.

After the death of her mother, the 1861, 1871 and 1881 censuses record Edith staying with her uncle Derwent, Sarah's older brother, in Chelsea, Brentford and Tormoham respectively.
