Their granddaughter Mary Grace, recorded as COLDRIDGE, is a "nurse child" in Christow. She is probably the daughter of Thomas Cornish whose wife Mary Anna died in 1875.

Ann COLRIDGE, aged 21, was buried on 1st October 1883. Noted as Ipplepen, daughter of Thomas.

Elizabeth COLRIDGE, aged 61, was buried on 4th July 1887. Noted as Ipplepen, wife of Thomas. Her death, aged 61, was registered in June 1887 in Newton Abbot.

The following article appeared in the Exeter and Plymouth Gazette on Friday 16th March 1894:

At Newton County Court Friday, before his Honour Judge Edge, John NORTHCOTTE, a butcher, of Christow, claimed from Simon COLRIDGE, a butcher, of Ipplepen, £3 19s 9d, the price of a pig. The defendant purchased several dead pigs from the plaintiff, but denied having the one in respect of which the summons was issued. After hearing the evidence, his honour gave a verdict for the defendant.
