John & Lena Colridge of Hartford, New York

John COLRIDGE, born in 1850, is the second son of Thomas & Elizabeth COLRIDGE of North Bovey. He migrated to the US in 1865 where he married Lena ARNDT around 1875. They are recorded in several censuses for Hartford, Washington, New York, where they had six children.

In 1905 John is recorded in Hartford with three of his children and his brother James, who was born in 1863 in North Bovey, confirming the relationship to Thomas & Elizabeth COLRIDGE.
