In 1861 Elizabeth is still living in Moretonhampstead. The parish register records her death a few years later:
Betty COLRIDGE, aged 83, was buried on 25th July 1865, noted as Easton, Chagford. A notice in the Exeter & Plymouth Gazette records: July 21, at Moretonhampstead, Elisabeth widow of Mr J. COLRIDGE, aged 88.
John COLRIDGE's death, aged 98, was registered in June 1886 in Newton Abbot.
